SD and MMC cards are backwards compatible in Kodak cameras. The SD card is an excellent replacement for those old MMC cards. Your Kodak/Toshiba SD card will operate at faster speeds than regular SD/MMC cards and are specifically designed for your Kodak Digital Camera. The SD Card can be used in a variety of digital products; digital music players, cellular phones, handheld PCs (HPCs), digital cameras, digital video camcorders, smart phones, car navigation systems and electronic books. The SD Card is 32 millimeters long, 24 mm wide and 2.1 mm thick. The card is slightly thicker than a MultiMediaCard allowing it to contain more memory for higher data capacity while maintaining the smallest area profile in the market.
