Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty Information

We try to make returns easy for our customers - please e-mail us if you have any questions. Our RMA department can be reached by filling out a RMA Form


NOTE:Do not send any returns without an RMA Authorization.

You must obtain return instructions and RMA documentation from our RMA department before returning your product to us. Your return/RMA will be returned to our Warehouse, not our offices, so please obtain authorization first.
Any REFUSED or RETURNED package due to incorrect address issues will be charged an automatic 20% restocking fee.


Our Return Policy

  • Should you need to return any unopened product within 30 days from the date of shipment, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the product, no questions asked and no hassles! Please click here to request the appropriate RMA forms needed to return your items.
  • Should you need to return an opened product within 30 days from the date of shipment, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed. The total less shipping and fees will be applied as a credit. All opened merchandise must be returned in its original packaging material, including any manuals, instructions, warranty papers, readers, software, static bags, blister packaging, serial numbers, etc. that came with the original package. All products returned must be in resellable condition, unless defective upon arrival.
  • Unlike most stores, we are proud to offer an extended return policy. Should you need to return a product from 31-60 days from the date of delivery, we will allow you to return the product subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Due to manufacturer limitations, we are unable to offer our Lifetime warranty policy on ANY product containing moving parts like external hard drives, microdrives, etc. Those products carry a 3 year limited warranty.

Our Exchange Policy

  • We offer the same return and extended return policy for our exchanges as well. Please click here to request the appropriate RMA forms needed to exchange your items. When filling out these forms, please indicate that you are exchanging the product for another item. Make sure you indicate what you are returning, the item that you are exchanging your return for, and its current price on our web site.
  • For non-defective merchandise or exchanges for different items, an additional shipping charge may be applied to your credit card.

Our Warranty Policy

  • We offer a lifetime warranty on all memory products sold through ComputerMemoryStore.com.
  • If for some reason you purchase a product from ComputerMemoryStore.com and find the product defective within 30 days, you may exchange it for a new one using our return/exchange policy through ComputerMemoryStore.com
  • If you have a problem after 30 days with a product you purchase from ComputerMemoryStore.com, manufacturer's warranty will be used to exchange or repair your item. If the manufacturer's warranty has expired or does not exist, the item(s) can only be exchanged for similar merchendise and no credit will be issued. To do so, contact RMA Department .
  • If the product becomes defective after the manufacturer warranty expires, you may return your product to us in exchange for a similar item.
